I know! I know! We were all very excited to be out there tonight especially the new teams who are ready to come out and play! Fields and courts were deemed not playable for tonight for both volleyball and softball.

So what now?

SOFTBALL:
Since today was a classification day for softball schedules will remain the same for next week! Take advantage of this extra week to get your team-members added to your rosters! You only get until your 3rd game to add players until rosters freeze!

Please note: If your team name is showing up in yellow on the schedule that means your roster doesn’t have the minimum amount of players on it yet. If your team is not showing up at all on the schedule that means you have not made any payments towards your team (if this is the case you should have an invoice under your account pending, make sure to make the appropriate payments so you become eligible! Playoffs will resume next week!

What does a rain-out mean?

A rain-out means that it is either pouring, there might be lightning, or that the fields are not playable. In the event that any of the above occurs, we will do our best to reschedule your games toward the end of the season.

Dec 15th Ugly Sweater Sand Volleyball Tournament Co-ed 4v4 – A/B! Dress in your ugliest sweater!

Here is what to expect:

Single-game pool-play matches from 9AM to 10:30AM
All teams make Final Tournament
Best of 3-Game matches for Final Tournament
Final Tournament is Double Elimination
Championship game starts around 4PM and should be ending around 5PM
$3 entry fee to get into Sports Park
1st place will get $40 worth of prizes, a Winner Photo and half their registration fee refunded
2nd place team will get $20 worth of prizes and $20 of their registration fee refunded
Only 12 spots available

Southern Arizona VA Health Care Donation

Our RWB Softball/Sand Volleyball Tournament at Sports Park Tucson was a success! To show thanks to our veterans we were able to make a donation of $400 to the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System. The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) located in Tucson AZ serves over 171,000 Veterans located in eight counties in Southern Arizona and one county in Western New Mexico. SAVAHCS is a 295-bed hospital providing primary care and sub-specialty health care in numerous medical areas for eligible Veterans. SAVAHCS also provides our Veterans with quality care at our seven Community Based Outpatient Clinics located at Safford, Casa Grande, Sierra Vista, Yuma, Green Valley, Northwest and Southeast Tucson.
