Happy New Year from all of us at Tucson Leagues:)

As of right now we are still waiting to hear back on how long the park will be closed. The main upgrades will be new asphalt, level out the space next to the playground, and put some new volleyball net systems up where they are currently located. In the meantime, we are trying to come up with some solutions for us to keep our volleyball play going.

After researching a few sand courts around Tucson we feel that the best alternative would be to continue our play either on grass or indoor play. We would probably start end of this month or beginning of February depending on how much interest there is for either of these options. Please keep in mind that for indoor the fee is substantially larger because indoor court rental is more expensive than outdoor. If you would like to continue to play with either of these options please sign the interest list by registering here: https://tucsonleagues.com/leagues (Please note that if you have an existing account at SportsParkTucson.com you can use the same credentials to log into TucsonLeagues.com. and sign the interest list that way.) If you want to continue play make sure to have anyone you know who would like to play sign the interest list. We would need at least 8 teams per division to keep on playing.

December 9th at Sports Park Tucson, we will be hosting a 4v4 Co-ed Sand Volleyball Tournament! Registration is on a first come first serve basis and it will fill up fast, so sign up TODAY!


– Single-game pool-play matches from 9am to 11am


– All teams make Final Tournament


– Best of 3-Game matches for Final Tournament


– Final Tournament is Double Elimination


– Championship game starts around 3pm and should be ending around 4pm


– $2 entry fee to get into Sports Park


– 1st place will get $40 worth of prizes, a Winner Photo and half their registration fee refunded


– 2nd place team will get half of their registration fee refunded


– Only 12 spots available 8 teams would be needed for the Tournament to happen


– Sports Park T-Shirt Giveaway happening throughout the event
